Should we trust STRANGERS ?

Hey you, ya, never trust a stranger; otherwise, you will be cheated. Girls are not allowed to walk freely anywhere alone. Girls mustn't trust any boy or any other strange person. Even teenagers are not allowed to reach a water cooler on railway stations alone.

Your parents or elders might have said these statements to you. Why is there a feeling of insecurity and uncertainty in them?

                              

Welcome guys, hope you all are doing well. You all have noticed one thing that every time our parents have a feeling of insecurity due to which they sometimes make some restrictions to their child, which are not in favor of them. I am not saying that caring for children is terrible, but exceeding the limit may make them coward and demotivated. 

                                                          

Provide them practical situation of society rather than giving them a conclusion. Then let him decide by himself on the situation and, after listening to him, you can pleasantly correct him. This step will make him realize the importance of your conclusions, and your restrictions will become a bit of security advice for them.

Second thing, don't prevent him from trusting a stranger. Instead, provide him the ability to identify a particular person if he is trustworthy or not. But the believe in a strange person must be calculative and in a limit, especially in this era. Don't forget to teach your child the moral value that he mustn't hurt or break others' trust.
   
That's it; security can be assured by being aware and responsible. It doesn't mean to be afraid of someone.
