What is Dharma

Everyone here wants to be a good human being. How to be a 'good' person? Ask yourselves.

So if we define a right person then we can say that he is helpful, kind, generous, loving, the one who takes care of his family, never cheats, never steal, never hurt anyone, and follows the path of truth and 'DHARMA.'

All right, so I think you all are competent persons. But, hold on guys, do you ever wondered that, what DHARMA means? If you don't know what Dharma is, then you are not a good human being. Before we approach Dharma lets to explore 'Adharma.'

You often do many such deeds which are considered adharma like arguing with parents, disrespecting your teachers, abusing some random person, fighting to your weaker ones, having an ego, etc. These all are 'Adharma.' If you are doing any of these things, then remember that you are doing adharma, and you will get this in return at one part of your life.

It is now considering Dharma. First of all, Dharma is the same for every religion, every caste, and every person living in this world. Don't think Dharma to be a religious matter because it applies to every human being.
Your Dharma and your Karma are very identical to each other. Your responsibility towards the society, towards your family members, and yourself is known as your Karma. It would be best if you did not escape from your Karma. You should do those works which can help in the progress of this world.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥

In Geeta, it is said that you should do your Karma but should not make a desire for its reward. You have the right to your Karma, but you don't have the right to its award. You may leave the fruit of your deeds but can't run away from your responsibilities, your Karma.

Remember, whenever you do good to someone, you ultimately feel proud and happy when you reach a holy place like a temple/gurudwara, etc. you feel inner peace, when you meet or watch a video of a wise man or monk then some vibes touch your soul, and you feel motivated. All this happens because of Dharma at those places. These places and persons are serving the society with their good deeds; this is their Karma.

So, always do those works which do not harm anyone and beneficial to society. Never quit from your Karma, and don't wait for a reward. It will be your Dharma.

Thank you, guys
